Sharon Franklin is a British trained osteopath .She has been keeping women comfortable during their pregnancy and helping settle babies for more than 15 years. Sharon has established and operated successful practices in the UK , New Zealand and Australia. She was a member of the Australian Osteopathic Associations’ NSW State Council for 2 years and assisted with the continuing professional development program for the osteopathic profession.
Sharon's Focus
Sharon's special area of expertise is the treatment of pregnant women and babies. Her real passion is treating babies. "One of the things I love about treating babies, is that when you make a baby happy, you help the whole family. Osteopathic treatment for babies is amazing. It is incredibly gentle, yet profoundly effective", says Sharon.
Sharon has treated pregnant obstetricians and midwives, and receives direct referrals from these health professionals. Sharon also focuses on treating headaches and migraines, as well as helping people with chronic pain. Sharon has combined her comprehensive, post-graduate study of paediatrics and obstetrics with substantial hands on clinical experience. She worked at the world renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children, a registered charity in London treating such diverse conditions as asthma, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, eczema, epilepsy and sleeplessness, as well as more common childhood ailments like glue ear and colic. She treated pregnant women, children and babies and also provided comprehensive post natal care for new mothers.

Sharon's Training
Sharon graduated from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy in London . She undertook a 4 Year Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Osteopathy. This included over 2,000 hours of hands on clinical training, assessing and treating patients under the supervision of experienced osteopaths.
She has completed intensive post-graduate courses in paediatrics, obstetrics and cranial osteopathy. She has also studied ergonomics and workplace assessment, repetitive strain injury and attended up to date seminars on orthopaedic testing.
