Angela Counsel
My name is Angela Counsel I am a professionally trained and accredited Naturopath and Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Bachelor of Business. I attended Nature Care College where I graduated with an Adv. Dip. Of Naturopathy, Diploma of Nutrition and a Cert. IV Remedial Massage as well as receiving the annual “Clinical Excellence in Naturopathy” award.
As well as being a naturopath I am also a mum, with two young children. Having had my children later in life I realised that many women don’t have the support systems in place to help them transition from being an independent career woman to a mother who now has another person totally dependent on them to survive. I also realised that many women have similar experiences when they have children, but often feel that they are alone in the way that they feel. Many mothers often miss the feeling of community that was part of our growing up and our parent’s era. It is this lack of community support which led me to establish The Ambaa Tree Natural Health Centre as a place where mums can feel comfortable to bring their children, where they can find support from other women in similar situations and also provide access to some of the best available natural health practitioners to address any health concerns of mums and their families.
My aim as a Naturopath and Director of The Ambaa Tree is to help you to feel supported, give you different natural options to help you and your family to achieve your maximum health potential as well as to provide you with the latest information on natural health solutions.

My name is Megan Maurer and I have an advanced diploma in Naturopathy and a Cert IV in Remedial Massage. I am a registered practitioner with the Complimentary Medicine Association.
I am dedicated to helping you in your own individual journey toward achieving and maintaining wellness.
I have a particular interest in women’s health and natural fertility management. Through my own personal journey I developed a passion for helping other women understand and appreciate their natural cycles.
My other passion is for food, the good, wholesome, nutritious kind. I wish to help you appreciate just how important a healthy diet is and how to make better choices for your long term health.
Good food, pure water, exercise, relaxation and positive thinking. These are, as I see it, the five commandments of a healthy lifestyle.
